Room Of Thought

Concept:

The mind, always already immersed in the ocean of consciousness, posits itself as the maker of realities. These realities are called rooms of thought.

Process:

A reality is a constructed space, which affects our bodies. A bodily will therefore participates in such realities as countless modes of Engagement (like positive affirmation, resistance, negligence, compromise, suicide, and numbness). The artistic body, however, is the complete awareness of the situation and experience of a room of thought as well as itself.

Therefore, artistic bodies are able to open up new worlds inside a room of thought in their artistic practices. This concept radicalizes itself in the digital space, where doors open into different rooms with just one click. In the digital world, there are rooms of thought within rooms of thought, endlessly imploding. Sitting in a very physical room of thought and collectively engaged in the digital world, what artistic practices can expose possible worlds of be-ing/coming?
